The goal of our school is to provide a quality Christ-centered educational program that challenges and encourages children to achieve their fullest potential. Therefore, each teacher has been chosen to reflect the ideals and goals of the school and church.

Our entire staff is honored and committed to providing education and care that produces happy, loving, independent, respectful, and successful children. Working together we can meet that goal!

City Church Academy is proudly accredited by FLOCS, an accrediting division of League of Christian Schools.

MISSION STATEMENT

To raise up champions and scholars for Christ by providing students with a foundation to a lifelong learning.

PURPOSE

Our goal is to provide the necessary quality care, education and development for each child to reach his or her greatest potential – spiritually, mentally, physically, socially and emotionally. This is to be accomplished by providing learning and developmental experiences consistent with the Christian principles of the church based on the authority of the Bible.

OUR BELIEFS

Teach the love of GOD and the promise of eternal life for the purpose of bringing children to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Develop a child-centered program acknowledging that learning is sequential and happens at different times according to each child’s individual growth and maturity.

Provide a program for the intellectual, physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of the children.

Provide opportunities for each child to recognize long-term rewards for good choices by focusing on successes as the child’s building blocks for learning and developing Christian character.

Uphold the family by providing opportunities for the involvement of parents and other adults in the education process, recognizing that the school is an extension of the home.

Develop a program that provides a warm, enthusiastic, highly competent staff that recognizes the importance of setting the proper example as role models of the Christian life.

Provide a program that will represent City Church as a valuable in-reach and outreach ministry.

OUR HISTORY
OUR HISTORY

Eugene and Laura Smith
Lead Pastors

City Church Academy began in 2007 as a result of the vision of Pastor Eugene & Laura Smith, following the purchase of the Page Academy School building on Airport Blvd in Sanford. Beginning as a preschool, CCA was founded by committed teachers who, on their own time, went door to door into the neighborhoods, inviting families to enroll their preschoolers.

In just a few short years, CCA began adding elementary years, starting with Kindergarten, and continuing through 5th grade. In 2020, CCA relocated to its brand new state-of-the-art building at 1701 Orange Blvd in Sanford, and is now preparing for expansion to include middle and eventually a private high school program on the same property, where it will continue to raise champions and scholars to be world changers for Jesus.
